On sunday I did a Lot of cooking and baking, and had 10 women over to make fizzy bath bombs. We mixed citric acid and baking soda, stuffed it into molds, and got baking soda everywhere.

The house smelled of jasmine, citrus, vanilla and lavender for hours afterwards.
Here's the almost final count. Everyone made at least 8, some made a dozen. I was so busy baking that I made 3. But I was way way happy with the quince gingerbread. It was soft, sticky, rich and spicy. This is straight out of oven, still steaming.
Oh man it was good. Just my favorite gingerbread recipe with quince and quince syrup on the bottom. When flipped out it became an upsidedown cake. The quince was subtle and perfumed, and was a nice textural mix with the spongy sticky gingerbread.
